The Montel Williams MS Foundation was established to further the scientific study of MS in October 2000. Currently, 100% of the public’s donations go directly to funding research to find a cure for MS.

The mission of The Rainforest Foundation is to support indigenous people and traditional populations of the world's rainforests in their efforts to protect their environment.

Big Cat Rescue a non profit educational sanctuary, is devoted to rescuing and providing a permanent home for exotic (i.e. wild, not domestic) cats who have been abused, abandoned, bred to be pets, retired from performing acts, or saved from being slaughtered for fur coats, and to educating the public about these animals and the issues facing them in captivity and in the wild.

Our History

MoonShadows and RainForests started as a dream several years ago. After two years choosing just the right formulation of the best waxes and other botanicals, premium quality fragrance and essential oils, followed by testing and more testing with a variety of cotton wicks to produce the strongest, cleanest burn, we are proud to offer top of the line premium candles for natural candle connoisseurs.

MoonShadows

To us, MoonShadows evokes thoughts of romance with a touch of whimsy, just like our candles! Since the dawn of mankind we have been fascinated by the moon. The moon has been the subject of awe and folklore for as long as man has been able to look to the heavens. The bringer of tides and the lovely light of the night has been the subject of many love songs and books that have been written over the years. Songwriters have exploited the love attraction of the moon for about as long as there has been music. We can't promise you romance, but our candles will inspire you with their lovely light.

RainForests

Tropical Rainforests provide a home for jaguars, leopards, pumas, and tigers. Rain forests only cover a small area of the world (7%), yet a huge number of animals live in them.

Today, more than two-thirds of the world's wild cats are now rare or endangered. This is largely because their habitats are disappearing as humans move into and develop the natural world.

Rainforests also hold the key to possible major medical breakthroughs in the treatment and cure of many devastating diseases. Rainforests contain an amazing abundance of plant life—just two-and-a-half acres of Amazon rainforest are believed to house approximately 900 tons of botanicals. Even more exciting is the fact that scientists and researchers have only just begun to uncover the medicinal properties of rainforest herbs and flora. Nature has provided us with a treasure of herbal remedies—secrets that offer new approaches to health and healing.

Plants thought to help treat or cure cancer, AIDS and malaria have been found in the rainforests of Borneo.
